LĪMINĀRIS
On Internet aesthetics and transitory spaces. Personal project, TBA.
PLANNED ESSAY

WHILE YOU’RE HERE...

Airports, highways, gas stations, and hotel corridors are some of the best-known examples of “liminal spaces”, popularized by internet aesthetic discourse and a desire to categorize every space we interact with. Liminal spaces, however, are often confused with another type of space, despite the difference in how we perceive them and interact with them: Non-places.

Check out “Airports and Proxemics”, my first foray into the non-place concept.
